At The James Company, we believe in the power of doing things together. Last year, we organised another great initiative to give something back to society: collecting deposit refunds for Leger Des Heils. Because we have a roof over our heads and how valuable is it to support those who don’t?
In our residential buildings, we placed special collection bins. Residents could drop off their empty cans and bottles, and +James took care of collecting and delivering them to a deposit point. The amount raised goes directly to Leger Des Heils. This way, we make donating easy while also contributing to a cleaner environment. A true win-win!
Thanks to the commitment of our employees and residents, we raised an amazing amount: €421.15. And that’s not all: we’re doubling this amount, bringing the total donation to €842.30. The money will go to one of the Leger Des Heils community living rooms. Across the Netherlands, you’ll find these community spaces, created for and by the neighbourhood. They’re places where people meet as neighbours, look out for one another, and offer support where they can. Leger Des Heils living rooms are welcoming spaces for everyone. A small effort with a big impact.
